I'm not sure Ange, I was never a Girl Guide and I'm only learning about Scouts since Finn and Mark became involved. I suspect there may not be a great deal of difference at this age and that it depends a lot on the types of activities the leaders are comfortable with as the available badges range from craft and cooking - to IT and literature - to more outdoorish pursuits. There have been lots of excursions this year along with nights of games and craft in the hall.
So much outdoor fun ... whats the different between GG and Scouts, seeing as girls do Scouts too??
